June Dunlop – Administrator

June is a highly qualified administrator with a vast knowledge of experience gained over 40 years in many different areas of work.  June has held many senior positions including Administrator/Events Coordinator/PA to Associate Dean at the University of Paisley for 10 years, supporting local national and international students.  After this she moved on to become the Organisational Manager at C-Change Scotland and worked with some wonderful people there for 10 years.  Other previous work included working with older people and children.  June started working with In Control Scotland in November 2012.

June’s  brother has a learning disability, so she has always been very passionate about the work she does in supporting people to make real positive changes in their lives.   June works very closely with Keith Etherington, Coordinator of In Control Scotland and other colleagues in a supportive role dealing with the administration and coordination of events and the development programmes which improve self directed support for everyone.  She has been very much involved with developing the ‘In Control Scotland’ website and social media which is a great forum for sharing information and knowledge around self directed support.  June is also the Project Administrator for the much acclaimed Partners in Policymaking programme.

June enjoys holidays abroad and spending time with family and friends.  She has a grown up son who is a musician and also works as a chef.
