Self Directed Support
As sector leaders in self-directed support in Scotland, our team have in-depth knowledge that we love to share with organisations or groups who want to learn more. We are able to offer training over half-days, full days, or multiple days, dependent on need. Our trainers bring a combination or paid and lived experience, allowing participants to consider what ‘good’ looks like from all angles.

During our SDS training we cover topics such as:

-
The values and principles of self-directed support
-
The legislation, guidance, and statutory duties
-
Allocating resource and developing budgets
-
Support planning and coproducing outcomes
-
Flexibility in budgets
-
Equal Conversations (sometimes called ‘Good Conversations’)
-
Self-directed support in practice

Our training offer is highly flexible, and we are able to go more in-depth into particular topics that suit the needs of your trainees.
