Self-directed support Act goes live and guidance launched

On 1st April 2014, the new self-directed support legislation for Scotland – the Social Care (Self-Directed Support) (Scotland) Act 2013 – came into force.  At the same time, new guidance was also issued to accompany the Act and to support implementation.
