Events

In Control Scotland delivers a broad range of events and activities which are open to providers, local authorities, carers, parents and people who access support.

Our events allow participants to explore areas such as understanding self directed support, getting to grips with support planning, demystifying  outcomes and person centred approaches to risk.  We also organise and facilitate regular national and regional network meetings

Some of our events are available only to people linked to member authorities and organisations; others are open to anyone.  Click on the event you are interested in attending on the calendar below for more details.  To download a copy of our ‘generic’ booking form click on the links below:

Risking A Real Life – Making good decisions together around issues of risk and opportunity in the North East of Scotland – 15th November 2018

This will be an interactive event, exploring different experiences of how self-directed support is going across the North East of Scotland.  We want to hear stories from people about what they are working on and what they need help with.  This is a conversation not just a conference… we want to look at lasting steps we can all take to keep moving forward.
Book your place today by registering on Eventbrite https://bit.ly/2yciKEm
