In Control Scotland delivers a broad range of events and activities which are open to providers, local authorities, carers, parents and people who access support.

Our events allow participants to explore areas such as understanding self directed support, getting to grips with support planning, demystifying  outcomes and person centred approaches to risk.  We also organise and facilitate regular national and regional network meetings

Some of our events are available only to people linked to member authorities and organisations; others are open to anyone.  Click on the event you are interested in attending on the calendar below for more details.  To download a copy of our ‘generic’ booking form click on the links below:

How’s it Going? – Workshops

How are we doing with self-directed support for children, young people and families?  Four years after the self-directed support legislation came into force, what does it really mean for children, young people and families who need additional support?  We will be running workshops in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen to provide a space for people to have an open discussion about the progress that has been made and to plan, with support, about what needs to happen now to enable lasting change and make choice and control a reality for children, young people and families.  If you would like more information on this workshop or how to book your place, please click on the image.
